Hello! My name is Brittany, and I own Bustin' Our Buds Flower Farm in Riceville, Tennessee. 

The farm is considered a micro-farm, growing on less than one acre of land that my husband and I bought soon after we were married. Since 2015, I have taught agricultural sciences, specifically concentrating in horticulture science. For most of my childhood, I did not live on a farm, but from middle school to going off to college, my parents owned a small hobby farm, mostly consisting of goats and horses. It was in high school that I decided to become an agriculture educator. 

I was always passionate about animal science, but it wasn't until I began teaching horticulture science classes my second year as a teacher that I fell in love with plants. For several years, I had the idea of one day starting my own flower business, but always managed to talk myself out of the notion until December of 2021.

As 2021 came to a close, I finally took the plunge of making the flower business idea into a reality, which is how Bustin' Our Buds Flower Farm began.

All of the flowers on the farm are grown through hard work, dedication, and a love for agriculture. Through our seasonal subscriptions, wedding florals, and gift arrangements, we are able to advocate for the agriculture industry, while spreading a little love and brightness to our customers' day.
